Dear ZBT Rushee,

On behalf of Texas Zeta Beta Tau, we would like to personally welcome you to rush.  We look forward to showing you not only why you should go Greek, but more importantly, why you belong in ZBT.
            ZBT’s storied history on the UT campus dates back over a hundred years, and we have the tradition and reputation that comes with it.  Many members of our fraternity are active in honored organizations like Texas Cowboys and Silver Spurs (on the field spirit groups at football games, responsible for guarding Bevo and firing the cannon after scores).  Our members are extremely active in student government, and a ZBT served as President of the Interfraternity Council in 2009.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a highly diverse chapter in all study areas, with brothers majoring in Pre-med, Pre-law, Plan II, the Business Honors Program, Engineering, and Communications. Two out of the past three years we have had the top GPA on campus, and on the off year we had the second highest.  Our chapter is also well known for our philanthropic involvement, having worked with March of Dimes, Dance Marathon, and the Dell Children’s Miracle Network.  
            ZBT’s prowess spans off and on the field.  We are consistently crowned intramural basketball champions, and have proudly raised the softball championship trophy for three years running.  We field competitive teams in all of the intramural sports, and all freshmen are encouraged to play.
The quality of our brotherhood is matched only by the quality of our house.  After recent renovations, we can now proudly say that ZBT has the nicest house on campus.  Many of our amenities can be found at no other house on campus: a brand new swimming pool, a full-sized basketball court, seven plasma televisions, a state of the art kitchen, and a full-sized basement.
All this being said, the only way to truly experience ZBT is to see it for yourself.  We encourage you to make the trip to Austin this year for one of our flagship events:

• Our signature party, Pat O’Brien’s, which is held annually on the weekend before Thanksgiving.
• In the spring, we host ZBTahiti, featuring a nationally known live music act
• Finally, we close out the year with our world famous Bellyflop Pool Party. 

We know that fraternity rush can be an overwhelming, intimidating, and confusing process.  To that end, we would like to encourage you to feel free to call or email (RushZBTTexas@gmail.com) us at any time. If you know of any Rushee's that we may have left off our mailing list, please let us know or encourage them to reach out to us.
