Zeta Beta Tau - Rush
Dear ZBT Rushee,
We, the Rush Captains of Zeta Beta Tau (ZBT) at the University of Texas wanted to take this opportunity to personally welcome you to ZBT Rush. Just in case you’re not familiar with ZBT’s prestigious history (dating back over 100 years at UT) or our highly respected reputation on campus, let us further introduce you to our fraternity.
First, we want to introduce ourselves as the new Rush Captains. The Rush Captains include Trevor Mayer, David Sukiennik, Myles Siegel, Mike Robinowitz, Tyler Goldberg, and Daniel Levitt. We look forward to showing you not only why you should go Greek at UT, but more importantly why you belong in ZBT.
Furthermore, ZBT consistently has one of the top three fraternity GPA's on campus. We pride ourselves on maintaining a highly diverse chapter in all study areas including specialized programs like Pre-med, Pre-law, Plan II, Business Honors Program, Engineering, and Communications.
Around campus, ZBT maintains an outstanding reputation. Many members of our fraternity are active in honored organizations like Texas Cowboys and Silver Spurs (firing “Old Smokey” and guarding Bevo during Horns games). We are extremely active in student government, and ZBT member Jonathan Frid (Dallas-ESD) is currently President of the Interfraternity Council (IFC). Our chapter is also well known for our philanthropic involvement with organizations such as March of Dimes, Dance Marathon, and the Dell Children’s Miracle Network.
This past summer, our Alumni raised a generous amount of money to renovate the ZBT House, giving us, and hopefully you, the nicest house on campus. The ZBT house is the only fraternity on campus with a brand new swimming pool and a full-sized basketball court (one reason why ZBT is consistently the UT intramural basketball champions). We have managed to bring home the Softball Championship the past three years as well. Hopefully, be it at Pat O’Brien’s (November 22), ZBTahiti, Belly Flop, or one of our summer rush events, you will have the chance to come by and see our new outdoor pavilion and the seven-flat screen plasma TV’s, all complemented by a full indoor and outdoor sound system.
Finally, we know that this time can be overwhelming and you may have some questions. Please feel free to call any of us or email us at texaszbt@gmail.com with any questions you have. If you know of rushee’s we may have left off our mailing list, please have them reach out to one of us. We’ll see you at the house. Hook 'Em Horns!
Cordially, Fraternally, and Sincerely,
The ZBT Rush Captains
